Description

The Electric Switch will wirelessly receive messages from the Genius Hub to control a unit like an immersion heater, a zone of wet underfloor heating, a circulation pump or an electric space heater based on the measured temperature.

This is a stylish receiver unit that can switch up to 13A. These are normally used to control hot water immersion heaters, wet underfloor heating, electric space heaters, or circulation pumps.

With a push button, the Electric Switch also has a manual override (boost) feature, the length of the override time being set by the number of presses of the button or it can be preset on the app. This gives manual control as well as being able to control the switch from the Genius app. For space heating, the temperature will be measured by a Room Sensor or Room Thermostat.

Alternatively, if you want to control a plug-in electric heater, you will need to use a Smart Plug.

Add a Temperature Probe to be able to measure and control the temperature of a hot water tank on the app, rather than on/off control. The Electric Switch does not come with the Temperature Probe as standard, this needs to be purchased separately.

The Electric Switch can be installed in a surface mount pattress, or it can be installed into flush mount/drywall boxes to make it more discreet.
