The Single Channel Receiver wirelessly controls a combi-boiler or plumbed zone valve for an independent heating or hot water zone.

Add a Single Channel Receiver to your order if you need to control; an additional heating zone valve, hot water zone valve or additional boiler.

Using the Standard ‘Universal Backplate’ in many cases the installation is simply a straight swap of the old 7-day programmer or wired thermostat to the new Single Channel Receiver.

Limited to 3A 230V it must not be connected directly to a circulation pump. The receiver unit must be connected to the boiler or zone valve. Having a ‘volt free’ connection for normally open and normally closed it is ideal for many 24V boilers.

It can also be used to control 24V underfloor heating, this receiver must be used with a compatible underfloor wiring centre, or click here to see if yours is compatible. If you don’t have an underfloor wiring centre because you have a single zone of underfloor heating, you should use a Genius Electric Switch to control a single zone of under floor heating. To directly control a circulation pump, you will also require a Genius Electric Switch.

The Single Channel Receiver can be overridden locally (boosted) by pressing the buttons on the front. The length of the override duration being preset on the app. This gives manual control as well as being able to control the switch from the Genius Hub app.
